Yeezy Slides Sizing — Do They Run Big or Small?

Yeezy Slides Sizing — Do They Run Big or Small?

Yeezy Slides are the easiest shoe in the lineup to wear and the easiest one to size wrong. The question everyone types before they buy is the same: do Yeezy Slides run big or small? Short answer — they run big, and they only come in whole sizes, which is the whole reason people get it wrong. Here's the no-return version.

Do Yeezy Slides run big or small?

They run big. A slide has no laces and no knit to hug your foot, so a size that's even slightly long slaps at the heel and hangs off the toe. Most people take their Yeezy Slides a full size down from their normal sneaker size. If you wear a US 10 in the 350 V2, you're almost always a 9 in slides.

The whole-size-only problem

Here's the catch that trips everyone up: Yeezy Slides come in whole sizes only — no half sizes. So if you're a half size (say US 10.5), you can't just "take your half." Because they run big, the move is to round down to the nearest whole — a 10.5 goes to a 10, not an 11. Sizing up to be safe is how you end up shuffling around in a foam raft.

The simple rule

  • Whole size, medium feet: go one full size down. Your US 10 is a slide 9.
  • Half size (e.g. US 9.5, 10.5): round down to the nearest whole. They run big, so the smaller whole is the right call.
  • Wide feet: go half a size down instead of a full size — take the nearest whole up from the "one-down" number. Wide feet want the extra width across the strap, and the Bone footbed has room to spare.
  • In between and unsure: size down. A slightly snug slide breaks in; a big one never gets smaller.

What about the strap?

The strap feels tight the first few wears — that's normal and by design. The foam relaxes and the strap gives a little within a week, so don't size up to escape a snug strap on day one. If the strap is comfortable immediately out of the box, the slide is probably too big. The Core and Bone are the two that go with everything, so they're the safest first pair to dial your size on.

How your foot should sit

Dialed-in fit: your foot fills the footbed edge to edge, heel near the back lip, toes just short of the front. A little foam showing at the front is fine — a lot means size down. You want the slide to move with your foot, not flop a beat behind it.

TL;DR: Yeezy Slides run big. Go one full size down (US 10 → slide 9). Half sizes round down. Wide feet only drop a half. The strap is tight at first and loosens — don't size up to fix it.

Got the fit sorted? The hard part is just picking a pair. If you're deciding between the low-effort slide and the do-everything clog, the Foam Runner vs Slides breakdown settles it, and how to style Yeezy Slides covers the fits that actually work.
